Those old enough to remember, can usually tell anyone where they were on Sept. 11, 2001 when news broke of the multiple terrorist attacks on our country.

On Friday, at 7:45 a.m., the City of Prattville, organizations and residents will pay tribute to the memory of those lives lost that horrible day. It will be held at the Public Safety Building, located at 201 Gin Shop Hill Road, at 7:45 a.m.

Breakfast will be provided by the Autauga County Bar Association.

From Organizers: “Let’s join together to compassionately honor, remember and pay tribute to those who were tragically killed on Sept. 11, 2001, in the terrorist attacks on America, as well as those who were injured during the attacks, and the many who rose in service in response.”

The public is invited and encouraged to attend this event. Please remember social distancing, and wear a mask for protection for yourself and others from COVID-19.
