Old Millbrook Police Dept. Blocked Off After Apparent Suicide This Morning in Parking Lot

Millbrook Police and Fire/Medic Personnel were called to the old Millbrook Police Department parking lot earlier this morning in reference to an apparent suicide. The individual was pronounced dead at the scene, and their identity is not being released.

The subject was apparently not in a vehicle, but in the parking lot when one shot was fired. The area has been blocked off, but traffic is open on Grandview Road. The old police department is across from Millbrook Fire Station 1 and the new Police Department/Court building.

Please do not release any identification, or further information. The shooting is being handled as a death investigation, but at this time it is believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. No further details are available at this time.
