FROM PRATTVILLE AUTAUGA HUMANE SHELTER (PAHS)
Our featured pet this week is Harley. He will make some family just a super pet.
Harley is an 1-and-1/2 year old male Chocolate Lab/Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever mix. He came to PAHS as a stray and his owner never came to reclaim him. Harley has a medium length chocolate brown coat and he currently weighs 48 pounds. He is considered to be a medium sized young adult dog. Harley is a sweet guy who never meets a stranger and greets everyone with a wagging tail. He is active and playful so we know he would appreciate a nice fenced yard where he could safely play. Harley gets along well with other dogs and would be fine with children. He is a great dog and would make a wonderful family dog! Come meet Harley soon!
Our adoption fee for dogs is $120.00 and is $50.00 for cats. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative. The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville and is open Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm. We do normally close one day each month for staff development but will not this month. For more information about our shelter, please call 358-2882, find us on Facebook at Prattville/Autauga Humane Society, email [email protected]., or visit our website at www.prattvilleautaugahumane.org.
Thank you for all you do for these pets in their search for a loving home.
Sincerely, Ara Horn
