Our featured pet this week is Evelyn. She is such a sweet, fun, and behaved girl.
Evelyn is an 1-year-old female Shepherd mix who has already been spayed. She has a brindle coat with white markings on her chest; and we think she is just a beautiful gal. Evelyn currently weighs 37 pounds so she is considered to be a medium sized young dog. She is a typical sweet girl who is so full of love and affection and she is very well behaved. Evelyn wants to have a home with children so she can play and show off for them. She would also be quite good with other dogs. Evelyn is so ready for her very own loving family and “forever” home. Come out and meet this affectionate girl. You will see that she is just the sweetest dog ever! Evelyn will make an absolutely perfect addition to any family and home.
Our adoption fee for dogs is $120.00 and is $50.00 for cats. These fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative. The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville and is open Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm. We do close one day each month for staff development — that will be on August 27th this month.
