The Wetumpka Police Department has officially notified CrimeStoppers that 27-year-old Chase Alan Hanger has been taken into custody in reference to a July 19th Theft investigation. Hanger is no longer wanted by law enforcement.
Wetumpka Investigators received information identifying Chase Alan Hanger from a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Investigator minutes after photos of the suspect was released by CrimeStoppers on July 24. Chase Alan Hanger was arrested for Theft of Property 2nd degree on August 8, 2020 by the Wetumpka Police Department. No other details were released.
