From candles to cupcakes, there was something for everyone at this month’s Eclectic Trade Days Saturday.

Trade Days is held on the second Saturday of every month except for this past April. The event brings a steady stream of customers from the River Region to this small but active Elmore County town.

Twenty-nine vendors participated in this month’s event and sold items such as Tupperware, cupcakes, Scentsy fragrance products, Mary Kay cosmetics, clothing, hand-made jewelry, vintage items, masks, hats, knives and much more.  There was even a food truck selling sno-cones.

Vendors set up in the Town Hall parking lot and customers can come browse and buy from 8 a.m.  to 1 p.m. This is the fourth year for the successful event, said Carmen Winslett, event coordinator and a Town Council member.

“It’s taken a long time to get here, but we’ve got really great participation now,” she said.

Mayor Gary Davenport could be seen greeting customers and vendors.

“This is a wonderful event,” Mayor Davenport said. “It brings people together and allows local businesses to showcase their goods. On the second Saturday of every month, Eclectic is the place to be!”

A booth costs just $10 to set up. For more information, contact Winslett at (334) 201-0092. See more photos below.
