Ex-Boyfriend in Custody After Reportedly Stabbing Prattville Woman Multiple Times

Antonio Williams, a 42-year-old Montgomery resident, is in custody for Attempted Murder and Burglary 1st  Degree after an Aug. 2 incident in Prattville where he allegedly stabbed his ex-girlfriend multiple times.

According to Prattville Police Chief Mark Thompson, his officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Murfee Drive in reference to a domestic violence incident Aug. 2.

Once on scene, officers located the female victim who had sustained multiple stab wounds allegedly by the suspect as he was leaving the neighborhood.

Investigators responded to the scene for processing and photographing evidence. It was determined the suspect was an ex-boyfriend and did not live at the residence.

A witness on scene corroborated the victim’s statement.

After the scene was processed Williams was arrested for Attempted Murder and Burglary 1st Degree. Williams was transported to the Elmore County Jail where he was held pending $125,000 bond.

The victim was transported to Baptist South Hospital with serious injuries.
