CANDIDATE FOR COOSADA TOWN COUNCIL
Coosada is a community made up of a diverse group of people with one common theme: We have the privilege to call Coosada our home. While all of us may not always see eye-to-eye on every subject, and we all have different traits and characteristics that make us unique, we all have made this town a place that we love coming home to at the end of the day. We care for our friends and neighbors. When things become difficult, we offer support and encouragement.
With surrounding cities becoming busier, we find ourselves in an interesting time in our small town. Young people are looking to escape the noise and bustle of the city. The quiet countryside is where they want to end their day. With this population increase, the age gap has increased. The younger generation needs a voice to represent them; not to change our way of life, but to bridge a gap between the old and the new.
This is why I am running for the Coosada Town Council’s 4th seat. I want to be that voice for our community’s younger generation that works with our long-time leadership of Coosada. As someone with well established relationships with Coosada’s long-time residents and town leaders, it is my commitment to the town and its citizens to work with other members of the council, not against them, to do what is right and most beneficial for Coosada; keeping it the town that we all love and call home.
