Meet Snowball! She is the PAHS Pet of the Week and has ‘special needs’

FROM PAHS

PRATTVILLE AUTAUGA HUMANE SHELTER

Snowball is a 1-year-old female Pit Bull mix who must be spayed before adoption. ‘Special Needs’ has been indicated on her profile because Snowball is deaf–more about that in a bit.  She was brought in by city animal control as a stray; and her owner never claimed her.  Snowball is solid white with the exception of a bit of brown at the base of her tail; and she is a gorgeous girl!  She weighs 50 pounds so she is considered to be a large dog.  Snowball is friendly, sweet, and affectionate but she can get a bit rough when she plays.  We believe she would be good with older children.  Since Snowball is deaf, we believe she would actually do best in a home with another dog for companionship.  Snowball deserves a great family and a patient owner who will help her transition into life in her new home and her new family.  She is a nice dog; and our staff ADORES Snowball.

Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Your pet will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a spay/neuter certificate which will help with the cost of spay/neuter. Unless otherwise indicated under ‘special needs’ our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
