The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the Robbery of a retail store that occurred in the 4200 block of Alabama Highway 22 in Valley Grande.
On Tuesday July 21, at approximately 5:50 pm, an unknown male wearing a white hat, black and white checkered shirt, and dark pants handed the clerk of Dollar General a note. The note demanded that she give him money. The clerk, realizing that it was a robbery, calmly opened the register and gave the offender an unspecified amount of cash. The offender left immediately after receiving the currency.
Investigators are hoping that someone will be able to identify the suspect through the released photos and video.
