PAHS Pet of the Week: Meet Leah! Terrier Mix has Beautiful Sparkling Brown Eyes, and is Very Affectionate

FROM PAHS

Our featured pet this week is Leah.  She is pretty, friendly, playful, and has beautiful eyes.

Leah is an 1-year-old female Terrier mix who has already been spayed.  She came to PAHS as a stray and her owner never came looking for her.  She is very pretty girl who has a reddish brown coat and she has just a little bit of white on her chest.  Leah weighs 28 pounds so she is considered to be a medium sized adult dog.  She has the most beautiful sparkling brown eyes!  Leah is friendly and affectionate.  She would be awesome in a home with children and other dogs.  Leah is active, playful, and loves to take walks on her leash.  She would appreciate a nice fenced yard where she could safely play outside.  Leah is such a nice dog and she is going to make a wonderful new addition to some lucky adopter’s family.

Our adoption fee for dogs is $120.00 and is $50.00 for cats.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.  Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative.  The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville and is open Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm.  We will not be closed this month for a staff training day.  Many of the PAHS pets currently are in foster homes now due to the COVID 19 crisis.  Anyone interested in adopting needs to call between 11:00 and 4:00 at 358-2882 to set up an appointment to meet the pet they are interested in.  For more information about our shelter, please call, find us on Facebook at Prattville/Autauga Humane Society, email autaugahumane@yahoo.com., or visit our website at www.prattvilleautaugahumane.org.

We really appreciate your help in finding homes for these precious pets.

Sincerely, Ara Horn, PAHS
