AWF Operational Adjustments

In the best interest of our employees, members, and customers, and in light of COVID-19 related recommendations from national/state health officials, effective today, the Alabama Wildlife Federation is making the following adjustment to our activities:

AWF Wild Game Cook-offs – we will postpone all of our Spring events. We will entertain and announce re-schedule dates once conditions improve and national/state health officials advise that large gatherings are in order. All sponsor/ticket purchases will be honored at the re-scheduled events. The specific AWF Wild Game Cook-offs that have or will be postponed are as follows:

•    Quad Cities – March 14th

•    Lake Martin – May, 2nd

•    Tri-County – April 23rd

•    Limestone County – May 12th

•    Guntersville – May 16th

•    Huntsville – May 21st

Alabama Nature Center Operations – AWF’s Alabama Nature Center facility in Millbrook will be closed until conditions improve and guidance from national/state health officials compels us to resume partial and/or normal activities. This includes all weekday and weekend access and activities, including trails, the Pavilion, and the NaturePlex. Traditional events that this will impact include:

•    Spring Break Camps – March 16th-27th

•    Easter Eggstravaganza – March 28th
