New Construction of THE PINES GOLF COURSE – IRRIGATION SYSTEM CITY OF MILLBROOK Elmore County, Alabama
The City Clerk of the City of Millbrook will receive bids for THE PINES GOLF COURSE – IRRIGATION SYSTEM, until THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2019, at 2:00 PM-CST, at which time and place bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at Millbrook City Hall, 3160 Main Street, Millbrook, Alabama. Electronic submissions of bids can be transmitted to Stuart Peters – Landmark Engineering at email stuart@landmarkeng.com until THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2019, at 12:00 PM-CST. A “Contractor Pre-Bid Qualification” form is included within the Irrigation Specifications of the bid package.
All interested bidders shall submit an electronic copy of the completed form and necessary attachments by WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2019, at 5:00 PM-CST. The submission shall be transmitted to Stuart Peters – Landmark Engineering at email stuart@landmark-eng.com Certified Check or Bid Bond for 5% of bid (maximum-$10,000) made payable to the City of Millbrook must accompany each bid as evidence of good faith. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved. The Project includes, but is not limited to, a new golf course automated irrigation system including all necessary pumps, controls, piping, valves and irrigation heads as specified. The Bid and Contract documents consist of the Advertisement for Bids, Irrigation Layout & Specifications, Contractor Pre-Bid Qualification, Bid Bond Agreement and other associated documents may be examined at Millbrook City Hall – 3160 Main Street, Millbrook, Alabama. All bidders must comply with the requirements of the Contractor’s Licensing Law of the State of Alabama and be certified for the type of work for which a proposal is submitted. The bidder is hereby notified that he must provide the information necessary to show evidence of license before an award is made. The Contractor may include the following information with his bid: Name of Company, Address of Company, Telephone Number of Company, Company Contact Person, Contractor’s Current License Number, Issuing Agency (State and Expiration Date), Bid Limit and Classification. No bidder may withdraw bid within 45 (forty-five) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The successful bidder will be allowed 60 (sixty) days to complete this project. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in their judgment, the best interests of the City will thereby be promoted.
