Annual Halloween Candy Walk

Come dressed in your favorite costume and trick-or-treat down Main Street during the Annual Halloween Candy Walk presented by the City of Prattville and Downtown Merchants on Monday, October 28th, from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm. First Parade of Pumpkins in Downtown Prattville

Come to downtown Prattville through Nov. 2 to see the creativity at the First Parade of Pumpkins hosted by the City of Prattville! Stroll through Historic Downtown Prattville and explore a pumpkin wonderland featuring carved and decorated pumpkins, festive storefronts and seasonal displays. This family-friendly event is free and open for anyone to participate.

Fallapalooza 2019

The Coosada Baptist Church will celebrate Fall at a special event from 4-6 pm on Sunday, October 27 at the church. The event is free to attend an enjoy popcorn, cotton candy, snow-cones, lots of games, and don’t forget the candy. There will be a hotdog concession stand if the families would like to purchase a small meal that will go towards missions.

First Baptist Church Posey Crossroads will celebrate their Fall Festival Sunday, Oct. 27, from 4-7 p.m. Hot Dogs and Chili at 6 p.m. There will be cake walks, hay rides, bouncy house, candy and face painting.

Join us on October 27th for our annual Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat!! We will have lots of candy, games, and fun. Dinner will be available for $1/person- which will include a corndog, chips, and a drink. Wear your costumes and bring your friends! See y’all soon.

Fall Festival at O’Charley’s to benefit New Hope Academy! New Hope Academy is a private school for children who learn differently, including those with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, etc… We do not receive federal or state funding and rely on tuition, grants, and donations. Please join us at O’Charley’s on October 29th for this wonderful Fall Festival fundraiser! 10% of proceeds will be donated to the school! Costumes welcome!

49th Annual Thanksgiving Pow Wow

You’re invited to the 49th Annual Thanksgiving Pow Wow at the Poarch Creek Indian Reservation in Atmore, AL, November 28 & 29. $5 for 7 & up, free for 6 & under. Gates open at 10 a.m. each day. Please be sure to bring cash, since credit may not be accepted, as well as chairs and blankets, since the bleachers may fill up! No pets, drugs, alcohol, weapons, or ice chests are allowed.

Food from vendors should cost between $2-10, and items available will potentially include Indian Tacos, BBQ sandwiches, hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken tenders, roasted corn, turkey dinners, ribeye steak sandwiches, loaded baked potatoes, pork skins, and Kona Ice.

As for when certain events begin, much of the schedule depends on when a previous event ends, but we know that Grand Entry will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, 12 noon on Friday, with gates opening at 10 a.m. each day. Activities on the Mound will be from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday. The Princess Contest starts around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. Activities should end at 8 p.m. or later.

The City of Millbrook will host its Annual Tree Lighting at Village Green Park! Music begins at 5:30 p.m. with official program starting at 6 p.m. Come enjoy a hometown Christmas celebration with local students entertaining, a Live Nativity, food vendors and the beautiful lights of Village Green Park.

DEC. 7

The City of Millbrook will host the Annual Spirit of Christmas Festival and Parade! Come to Village Green for food and craft vendors beginning at 9 a.m. There will be live entertainment throughout the day, games, activities and fun for the entire family. THEN….At 2 p.m. get a good spot and be ready for the annual Christmas Parade to roll on Main Street from the Smokehouse Pit Barbecue up to the Millbrook Economic Development/Chamber of Commerce Building in front of Village Green Park. Catch some candy, toys and beads! Then, head back to the park for more shopping!
