KeLeigh Mullens will conclude one of the all-time great careers for a Prattville basketball player when she participates in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star game next week in Clinton, Mississippi. Mullens was the first-ever Lady Lion to be selected to compete in the prestigious event.
“Being selected means everything to me,” said Mullens. “It shows that mine and my coaches’ hard work, dedication, and sacrifices didn’t go unnoticed.”
Mullens’s long list of accomplishments includes leading Prattville to the Class 7A Final Four in 2023 and again in 2024. She made the All-Regional Tournament Team two years and was the Most Valuable Player another year. The Alabama Sports Writers Association named her 3rd Team All-State in 2023 and 2024. She was named First Team All Autauga County in 2025.
Mullens averaged 20 points a game and averaged 6 assists, 6 rebounds, and 7 steals per game. She has played with and against several of her teammates on the Alabama side. She hopes to compete at a high level against the best high school basketball players from the State of Mississippi.
“I hope to prove I belong on that stage. I want to make an impact in every way possible through effort, defense, leadership, and energy. Also, to leave knowing I gave everything I had. I also want to take advantage of the experience by learning from other top players and coaches.”
Following graduation, Mullens will play basketball at Shelton State Community College. “I’ll be studying criminal justice. My goal is to stay focused academically while continuing to grow as a student-athlete and build a strong foundation for my future career.”
