Autaugaville Christian Academy is hosting a CHOOSE Act Sign-up Day, Jan. 2, 2026, at 4 p.m. at the Eleven86 Bottling Plant, located at 276 County Road 165.
“This is an important milestone for the community, as it allows local families the opportunity to choose a new private Christian school option closer to home, while expanding educational opportunities for students in the region,” said Kristi Pieper, Autauga County Director of Economic and Community Development.
CHOOSE Act Alabama makes refundable income tax credits called education savings accounts (ESAs) available to support the success of eligible K5-12 students in Alabama. An ESA can be used to pay for tuition, fees, and other qualified education expenses at approved Education Service Providers (ESPs) in Alabama.
“This is HUGE and exciting news for Autaugaville and represents another positive step forward for families throughout the area,” said Pieper.
