Bojangles is coming to Prattville! Bojangles, the Carolina-born fast-food restaurant, is mainly known for their southern fried chicken, biscuits and tea.
Both the head of construction for this location and the Prattville Planning Department confirmed that Bojangles will officially be coming to Prattville.
The fast-food-chain is renovating the old Milo’s location at 2305 Cobbs Ford Road in Prattville, according to David Hutcheson, head of construction.
Hutcheson confirmed that the location will be at 2305, that the restaurant will be Bojangles and that they have started construction. However, Hutcheson stated there is not an estimated date when the construction will be done at this time.
Bojangles was founded in 1977 with a single location in Charlotte, North Carolina, according to their website.
In a press release from Bojangles, released earlier this year, it states, “Bojangles, one of the nation’s leading franchises famous for its chicken, biscuits and tea, announced today that it achieved significant development success in 2023, adding 270 units to its growth pipeline and accelerating its expansion strategy in new markets.”
Bojangles has also been stacking up the accolades in recent years. Bojangles was ranked #57 in Franchise Times’ Top 400, #43 in Technomic’s Top 500 Chains, as well as #32 in QSR Magazine’s Top 50 Fast Food Chains of 2021. Most recently, Bojangles ranked #115 in Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top 500, ranking #115 and one of the best chicken franchises.
Bojangles is currently in 17 states throughout the Southeast with roughly 818 locations nationwide and quickly expanding. There are currently 32, soon to be 33, locations throughout Alabama, with the closet location to Prattville being in Eastchase in Montgomery.
