The Elmore County Edge Program
Elmore County’s virtual school, The EDGE, is pleased to announce that they have been awarded a grant in the amount of $15,840 from the Alabama Reading Initiative to create enhanced opportunities for students as part of the Alabama Literacy Act.
The EDGE will use these funds to host an in-person Jumpstart Literacy Camp for elementary students who are currently enrolled in the virtual school. Sessions will meet three times a week from September through the end of October.
