Nesbit is PAHS Featured Pet of the Week for May 12
Nesbit is a 9-year-old male Dachshund/Terrier mix who has already been neutered. This dapper little black and tan boy came to PAHS as a return adoption because, after having him for 7 years, his owner could no longer take care of him. Nesbit currently weighs 18 pounds so he is considered to be a small adult dog. He is such a friendly fellow who gets along well with other dogs and would be great with children. Nesbit is a southern gentleman who is very well behaved. He is also friendly and affectionate. Nesbit is house trained and such a good senior dog. He would make an excellent companion for someone looking for a devoted little friend. If you are looking to adopt a small dog with great potential to be a totally awesome little family dog–he would be a wonderful choice. If you think Nesbit might be the one for you come on out to PAHS and see for yourself what a great little guy he is!
Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Your pet will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a spay/neuter certificate which will help with the cost of spay/neuter. Unless otherwise indicated under ‘special needs’ our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
