Elmore County Family Resource Center Challenges You to Reset Life Goals

Are you having trouble finding a job? Feeling like your job search is restricted because you don’t have your high school diploma? Chrissy Boshell, Case Manager with the Elmore County Resource Center has the tools necessary to get you going down the right path.

“We have the tools and programs in place to give people no excuse to get back into the workplace. Everything is prepped and ready for them to excel in the workplace,” says Boshell. Elmore County Family Resource Center is all about connecting resources and families.

Some of the programs that Elmore County Family Resource Center has available are:

Workforce Development Program– Provides individuals with soft skills such as communication and resume writing.

GED Prep Program– Provides individuals with Chromebooks that allow them to view study guides, take courses, and take practice tests to help prepare them for the GED exam.

Work Experience Program– Works with individuals to help them with career prep in jobs such as marketing, healthcare, and even construction. After individuals have completed the program, they assist with job placement.

Supervised Job Search Program– Allows individuals to receive assistance while on their job search. They are given gas vouchers of up to $50 a month and an additional $100 per month towards their needs.

Job Retention Program– Assists individuals with their personal needs such as clothing and work supplies to ensure that individuals can stay on their jobs.
