Rolling to the Polls Voting Initiative

The Rollin to the Polls Voting Initiative will provide free rides to the polls for voters participating in the Alabama Primary Election on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.

Free transportation services will be available for voters in Montgomery, Lowndes, Dallas, Macon, Autauga, and Elmore counties. Polls across Alabama will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

As part of its ongoing mission to increase voter access and civic engagement, Rollin to the Polls will offer rides to and from voters’ designated polling locations to help eliminate transportation barriers that may prevent individuals from voting.

“Voting rights in Alabama remain under attack, making it more important than ever for communities to stay informed, engaged, and prepared to vote,” said Kynesha Brown, coordinator of the Rollin to the Polls Voting Initiative. “Every eligible voter deserves the opportunity to make their voice heard at the ballot box, regardless of transportation challenges.”

Rollin to the Polls is a nonpartisan organization focused on voter education, civic engagement, and increasing voter participation across Alabama communities.

Voters needing transportation assistance on Election Day can call: 334-223-4293 or 866-4AL-VOTE

Community members are encouraged to make a voting plan, verify their polling location before Election Day, and help spread the word to family, friends, and neighbors who may need assistance getting to the polls.
