In 2022, the department responded to 611 calls for service. In 2023, the number was 604.

In 2024, the department saw our volume explode to 767 calls for service.

SEVEN HUNDRED SIXTY SEVEN!

We’ll do a more detailed year in review later, but here’s a quick breakdown of last year’s activity:

33 Dispatched and canceled in route

17 Good intent or no incident found

3 Off road or heavy equipment fires

2 Woods fires

1 Special rescue/extrication

We’ve said time and time again that it takes teamwork to provide timely emergency response. During 2024 EFD received aid from our partners on 32 incidents, many of which required aid from multiple agencies. We owe these folks a huge thank you for these responses:
