Stanhope Elmore High School will have their Homecoming football game tonight against Russell County beginning at 7 p.m. Prior to kickoff, the Homecoming Court will be recognized.
On Thursday, the annual Parade rolled from the school to Main Street and to Chapman Road, with the traditional Senior Pond Jump event taking place.
Speaking of the Pond Jump, we are often asked when the tradition began. Does anyone know the first year?
School organizations, classes, band, cheer, JROTC and more took part in the annual parade, with great floats and tremendous enthusiasm.
