The Alabama Expos 13 and under baseball team from Tallapoosa and Elmore Counties took some hardware home this June. The team competed in the USSSA Global World Series tournament and won.
The Alabama Expos competed in Panama City where the boys played teams from all over the country. They finished their season with a 13-6 win over the SBA Frankline Battle team from Tennessee.
The team consists of Brancen Arant, Drew Burks, Sebastian Cordova, Ayden Easterling, Tysen Franks, Crimson Hill, Jose Moreno, Jay Oliver, Mason Reay, Crawford Vest and Thomas Xiengsen. The team is coached by Chet Sanford, Elliot Reay and Jose Moreno Sr.
