Jiggy is the PAHS Pet of the Week; His owner passed away and he needs a new family

PAHS PET OF THE WEEK

PRATTVILLE AUTAUGA HUMANE SOCIETY

Jiggy is a 7-year-old male Chihuahua/Poodle mix who must be neutered before adoption.  He was brought to PAHS because his owner passed away.  Jiggy is light tan; his coat around his face and head is longer and has a wiry look to it.  He only weighs 13 pounds, so he is a small dog.  Jiggy is sweet, friendly, and affectionate.  It is recommended that he NOT be in a home with children.  He does get along well with other dogs.  Jiggy is leash trained and house trained but does occasionally ‘mark’ areas which is not uncommon for dogs who haven’t been neutered.  Folks are always looking for small dogs and Jiggy is such a great one!

Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Your pet will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a spay/neuter certificate which will help with the cost of spay/neuter. Unless otherwise indicated under ‘special needs’ our dogs have screened heart worm negative.

PAHS is open 11-4 Monday thru Saturday. Please contact Prattville/Autauga Humane Society for most current information: 1009 Reuben Road, Prattville, AL – Phone: 334-358-2882 Email Address: adopt@prattvilleautaugahumane.org.
