PET OF THE WEEK IS IMANI
Imani is a 1.5-year-old female Australian Shepherd/Catahoula mix who must be spayed before adoption. She came to PAHS as a stray who was never reclaimed. Imani has a short white coat with large patches of gray merle markings; and she has blue eyes. She is a stunningly beautiful dog. Imani is very timid and shy; and it takes a little while for her to learn to trust you. Once she gets to know you, she is so super loving and affectionate. We know Imani will quickly bond to her adopter. This sweetheart has a way of picking a favorite person and being very loyal and protective of ‘her person’. Imani is active and playful once she relaxes. In fact, she absolutely loves running and playing outside. Imani is working on her leash training; and she has mastered the commands ‘sit, stay, and heel’. She would do best in a home with older children only. If you have another dog, we suggest a ‘meet and greet’ with your dog.
Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. . Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Your pet will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a spay/neuter certificate which will help with the cost of spay/neuter. Unless otherwise indicated under ‘special needs’ our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
