The Prattville Police Department is investigating identity theft and seeks the public’s help with identifying the suspect.
Prattville Police Investigators released a photo of an unknown suspect wanted for an identity theft investigation. Investigators say the offense occurred on Wednesday, January 10, and Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Home Depot located at 2710 Legends Parkway, Prattville, AL.
Investigators say the pictured suspect, identified as a black male, entered the business and purchased GOOGLE Nest Thermostats, assorted electronics, and various other items. The suspect used another individual’s information and credit card information to make the fraudulent purchase. The suspect purchased the same items on both listed dates. The suspect was seen leaving the scene in a white van and may also drive a Chevrolet Camaro.
