The Tallassee Police Department is investigating a business robbery and seeks the public’s help with identifying the suspect.
Tallassee Police Investigators released a photo of an unknown suspect wanted for a business robbery that occurred on January 2, 2024, at about 1:30 pm at Marthon Gas Station located at 511 Jordan Avenue, Tallassee, Alabama.
Investigators say the pictured suspect, identified as a black male, entered the business, produced an unknown type of handgun and demanded currency. Investigators say the suspect took an assortment of US currency and left the business in an unknown direction of travel.
