For many years, if you ever had dealings with the Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce, you saw this beautiful lady.
She was a longtime volunteer for the organization, and usually the first person to welcome you warmly when you stopped by the office. She was beautiful inside and out, and the world is a bit darker today. We send our sincere condolences to her many friends and family. Obituary for Mrs. Janet Ann Brown
Mrs. Janet Ann Brown age 76, a resident of Millbrook, AL passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at a local hospital. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. from the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home with Rev. Ruby Beck officiating.
Mrs. Brown was born to the late Charles Linford Brown & Marie Antoinette Isabella Cafarelli Brown on February 2, 1947 in Virginia. She was a member of Pintlala United Methodist Church and the Millbrook Civitan Club. She was also retired from the City of Montgomery as a Librarian.
In her free time, she loved working with the Millbrook Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Chuck Cafarelli and her sisters Nancy & Cindy Cafarelli. She is survived by her son Ernie (Karen) Baggett, granddaughter Sara Paige Baggett a host and nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Millbrook Civitan Club, P.O. Box 1117, Millbrook, AL 36054, in her memory. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
