The Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce held their annual Christmas open house from 11-1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon where the Chamber showed their appreciation and gratitude for their members and everyone that has supported the Chamber throughout the year.

“It’s our way of thanking our members and special partners throughout the community for their partnership and their investment in the chamber. We wouldn’t be able to carry on the initiatives, the projects, or the events that we do if it weren’t for their memberships. This is just a small token of thanks to the community,” Chairman of the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce Lisa Miller said.

The room was filled with festive decorations, laughs and the smell of delicious food, where members of the community came together in support of the Prattville Chamber.

“Sometimes our members aren’t able to make it to certain things, but this event is something where we end up seeing people we may not be able to see during the year. We show our appreciation to every member and the community. Without the community and our members we wouldn’t be able to do what we do,” President of the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce Patty VanderWal said.

Many members of the city and county government attended the open house as well as members of the community that have their hands in the happenings of the Chamber too. The room was all smiles, to kick off the holiday season in Prattville.
