FROM THE ELMORE COUNTY COMMISSION
A portion of Prospect Cutoff Road will be closed for approximately a month beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, October 30, 2023. This closure is required to replace the weight restricted bridge on Prospect Cutoff Road. The point of closure is 0.4 miles west of Alabama Highway 63 (Kowaliga Road).
No through traffic will be permitted during the construction period so citizens should seek an alternate route during the road closure. Weather permitting, the road is scheduled to be reopened to traffic by Thursday, November 30, 2023.
