Village Green Park is the place to be Thursday, beginning around 5 p.m. this Thursday, as the West Elmore Lions Club will host the 2nd Annual Duck Race down Mill Creek! Purchase your ducks now, or at the event. All funds will benefit the community, through donations by the Lions Club. *See top graphic for ticket information.
Jeep Owners are also invited to come out and display their vehicles. There is a tradition among Jeep owners that rubber ducks are left on Jeeps if other Jeep owners like their vehicle. So, that coincides beautifully with the duck race, according to Danae Morgan, Millbrook’s Special Events Director.
Then, hang around tor the first Fall installment of a FREE concert with Tunes on the Green! Fire Meets Wood food truck will be there for the hungry, or those who want to get orders to take home. There will be a Kids Zone and great music with the group H2O.
The concert is FREE, other than any food or refreshments you would like to purchase. Bring your lawn chairs and your dancing shoes for a great time at Village Green. The EAN will be there to take plenty of photographs of all of the events throughout the afternoon. We hope to see you there!
