Marbury High School will host its 3rd Annual Camellia Marching Band Festival on Saturday, September 30th with performances beginning at 10 a.m.. The festival will be held on the school’s campus, located at 2360 US Hwy 31, Deatsville. This event will have a 3-judge panel for band adjudication and an educational clinic following each band’s performance.
There will also be a percussion judge, a majorette/dance judge, a color guard judge and a drum major judge. Trophies will be awarded to bands, percussion, color guard, drum major, dance, and majorette who receive superior ratings.
Along with the Marbury High School Northstar Marching Band, Huntingdon College Marching Scarlet and Grey will perform in the exhibition.
The performances will be split into two sessions:
SESSION 1
10:00 – West End High School
10:20 – Trinity Presbyterian School
10:40 – Dallas County High School
11:00 – Saint James School
11:20 – Alabama Christian Academy
11:40 – Holtville High School
12:00 – Stanhope Elmore High School
12:20 – Chilton County High School
12:40 – Montevallo High School
1:00 – Marbury High School
1:20 – Group 1 Awards
SESSION 2
3:15 – Fayetteville High School
3:35 – West Blocton High School
3:55 – Gordo High School
4:15 – Chattooga High School
4:35 – AH Parker High School
4:55 – Greenville High School
5:15 – Tallassee High School
5:35 – Oak Grove High School
6:00 – Huntingdon College
6:20 – Group 2 Awards
