The Prattville Christian Academy Panthers’ volleyball team only dropped one set in six different matches to win the Elmore County Block Party Tournament held at Elmore County High School in Eclectic over the weekend.
The Panthers started pool play with wins over Chilton County (2-0), Horseshoe Bend (2-0), and Stanhope Elmore (2-0).
In single-elimination tournament play, Prattville Christian Academy defeated Stanhope Elmore again (2-0), and advanced to the semi-finals, defeating Wetumpka (2-1). In the championship match, the Panthers defeated Beauregard (2-0).
Prattville Christian Academy’s record for the year has improved to 15-9. The Panthers will take on Beulah on Tuesday in an area match.
Emma Cate Carter had 43 kills, 14 aces, 29 digs, 2 assists, and 2 blocks.
Baylee Rogers had 99 assists, 18 kills, 9 aces, and 32 digs.
Kyra Sims had 23 kills, 12 blocks, and 3 digs.
Leah Cate Wilson had 30 kills, 3 blocks, 3 digs, and 1 assist.
Natalee Wheeler had 42 digs, 3 aces, and 9 assists.
Baileigh Seale had 14 digs, 10 aces, and 9 assists.
Morgan Fowler had 18 digs, 8 aces, and 1 assist.
Jenna McClendon had 14 kills, 6 blocks, 2 assists, and 3 digs.
Brylee Byrd had 23 digs and 4 assists.
Aiden Williams had 17 digs and 3 assists.
Paysley Bayer had 10 kills and 3 digs.
Dakotah Zimbelman had 4 kills, 3 digs, and 1 block.
