Wheels for Dallas Fundraiser
A fundraiser is scheduled for Sept. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the GAB Salon to help raise funds for a Wetumpka young man.
Dallas is 11 and lives in Wetumpka, attending Holtville Middle School. Dallas has DMD, which is Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He lost the ability to walk shortly after he turned nine-years-old. At this time, he is completely wheelchair bound.
The fundraiser is for an accessible van so that can transport him easier to appointments. “My DMD Hero” is a nonprofit organization that has agreed to host the fundraiser for us. So, any monetary donations are tax-deductible.
We have an Facebook Page where we are keeping people updating on fundraising efforts and full transparency on fundraising amounts/donations. The page is called Wheels for Dallas. Please like, follow and share.
The link for the nonprofit donation page is: www.wheelsfordallas.com
We have a fundraising lemonade stand confirmed for Sept 16th, 10AM-2PM in front of the GAB Salon in downtown Wetumpka.
We also have a benefit concert confirmed for December 2nd, and it will be in Montgomery at the Sanctuary. Please follow the Wheels for Dallas Facebook page for more information.
