The United States Marshals Service Gulf Coast Regional Task Force notified Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and advised they have located fugitive, Dental Davis.
The United States Marshals Service Gulf Coast Regional Task Force originally was searching for the location of fugitive, Dental Davis wanted for Capital Murder with Alexander City Police Department. Davis was identified as a suspect in a murder that occurred on Thursday, December 29, 2022, in Alexander City, Alabama.
The task force has actively been seeking Davis since January of 2023. CrimeStoppers has received a number of tips regarding this fugitive case, and investigators credit a recent CrimeStoppers tip provided by an anonymous tipster with helping provide the whereabouts of Davis. Investigators say Davis would not have been located without the anonymous tipster’s vital information. As a result of this anonymous tipster bravely coming forward, CrimeStoppers will be providing a $1,000.00 cash reward to the tipster.
Investigators say they located Davis in Chicago, Illinois, on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. Davis was taken into custody by law enforcement and will be transported to the arresting agency for Capital Murder.
CrimeStoppers applauds the United States Marshals Service Gulf Coast Regional Task Force for actively searching for Davis and staying consistent with pursuing his apprehension. Though it took time, Davis was eventually located. Investigators also would like to thank the media and the public for helping create public awareness that reached across the states to the Chicago, Illinois area. As a result of this, a person wanted for Capital Murder is now off the streets and behind bars.
