MONTGOMERY POST – A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 5:20 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, has claimed the life of a Tyler man. Jay D. Morgan, 57, was fatally injured when the 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage he was driving collided head-on with the 1996 Nissan Maxima driven by Bryant L. Lawrence, 52, also of Tyler. Morgan was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred on Lowndes County 9 near Double Church Road, approximately 11 miles west of Mosses, in Lowndes County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
