.Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms are forecast through this evening, mainly for areas along and south of Interstate 20. Thunderstorm activity will produce locally heavy rainfall, with the potential for repeated heavy rains over the same areas. Over the last few days, 2 to 5 inches of rain has fallen in some areas. An additional 1 to 2 inches is possible through this evening.
