Award Ceremony and Annual Meeting Held for Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce

The Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce held their annual meeting and small business awards today.

Tickets sold out quickly.

They opened with a welcome from the presenting sponsor, Don Duncan from Don Duncan’s All-American Auto and Tire.

Followed by an invocation from Janet Krantz, Pastor of Robinson Springs Church and  pledge of allegiance led by Col. Dale Bain.

Then, presentations and awards began and were officiated by Brenda Dennis, Director of The Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce.

The food served was catered by Marty Bean from Front Porch Grill with the help of Mrs. Perry and her class from the Elmore County Technical Center.

Winners of this years awards were:

Emerging Small Business- Jeff Cambell, Legacy Seafood. This award was presented by Mike and Amy Floyd from Main Street Vintage Market.

Small Business (1-10 Employees)- Ashley Williams, Pest Pro Services. Presented by DJ Taylor from River Region Vision Source.

Medium Business (11-50 employees)- Mike and Joann Ingram, Ingram’s Farmers Market. Presented by Don Duncan, from Don Duncan’s All-American Auto and Tire.

Large Business Award (51+ employees)- Central Alabama Electric Cooperative. Award presented by Jamie Brown from Max Credit Union. 

After awards the new board members were sworn in followed by the announcement of Ambassador of the year. 

The ambassador of the year award was presented by Jordan Halloran, Ambassador Chair and the recipient of this award was Ashely Williams, Pest Pro Services.
