A fundraiser was held Sunday at One More on the River in Millbrook to support Angels Among Us.
Angels Among Us is local charity that promotes a fun, positive atmosphere where children with special needs or developmental delays can interact and be involved in activities that are not normally available to them. Angels Among Us provides advocacy and helpful information to parents and caregivers of these children.
The benefit was held to raise money to put on a beauty pageant for the children and adults that are a part of the program. It will be held May 20, 2023 at Journey Church in Prattville. The community pulled together to raise over $15,000 through donations, silent auctions and 50/50 raffles.
Jeff Roberts donated his time to provide entertainment, which included some of the pageant contestants showing off their dance moves to practice for their talent portion.
A big thank everyone who donated and participated Sunday supporting this great cause.
