FROM THE TALLASSEE POLICE DEPARTMENT
On 4/3/2023, Tallassee Patrol Officers conducted a traffic stop on Gilmer Ave. where Elmore County resident, W/M Mark Shannon Langley, was found in possession of approximately 42.3 grams of crystal meth and three firearms.
Langley was taken into custody and charged for Trafficking in Methamphetamines, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Certain Persons Forbidden to Possess a Firearm. Langley was transported to the Elmore County Jail without incident. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
