We were honored today to attend Uncle Mick’s Cajun Market Cafe ribbon cutting event for their reopening ceremony. Thank you to Uncle Mick and his staff for the hospitality. We are grateful to welcome them back to the community. The fire at Uncle Mick’s occurred on August 18, 2022. Stations 2 initially responded for a smoke investigation following a report from patrons of a “popping” sound coming from the business. Engine 2 arrived shortly after and reported heavy smoke from the building, issuing a second alarm. Stations 1, 3, and 4 also responded to the incident. Welcome back Uncle Mick and staff.
