Farren Jill Hudson to remain in Autauga County Jail with No Bond

Farren Jill Hudson, 35, will remain in the Autauga County Metro Jail with no bond, after a bond hearing held this afternoon. Her charges include multiple sex offense crimes involving a child. was in an Autauga County courtroom this morning for a bond hearing, relating to multiple sex offense charges.

The current charges against her from her recent arrest include Sodomy – With a Girl – Strong arm and Sexual Abuse of a child less than 12 years of age.

Relating to this case is the 2021 arrest of Jason Wade Hudson, who was taken into custody in October 2021. In a release from the Autauga County Sheriff’s Office at that time, it said that investigators with the Autauga County Internet Crimes Against Children Unit had led the investigation that ended with his arrest.

At that time, Jason Hudson was charged with five felony counts of a child, Sexual Abuse Material, and was initially placed under a $150,000 bond.

He was eventually released on bond, according to District Attorney CJ Robinson.

Jason Hudson’s legal counsel argued that the evidence against him was tainted and had been altered by law enforcement. Robinson said that the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency then became involved, with a separate investigation of the evidence.  and using state-of-the art equipment on the evidence in question.

It was that investigation, that led to the most recent charges against Farren Hill Hudson and potentially new charges against Jason Hudson.

“We will have additional charges,” Robinson said.

In essence, Robinson said this case revolves around the production of child pornography with sexual acts performed on children. The reported victim was under the age of 12 at the time the materials were allegedly produced.

As of this report, Jason Hudson remains free on his original bond, and has not been booked into the Autauga County Jail on new charges. We will update if and when that changes.

These investigations were handled by the Autauga County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Prattville Police and Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
