Friends, members and guests celebrated Thanksgiving a little early today at the new Millbrook Civic Center. There was not a parking spot to be had, and very few empty seats as a huge crowd packed into the main room.

An amazing traditional Thanksgiving meal was served by the hardworking kitchen crew.

Great entertainment was offered by Frank and Cindy Clem.

Lots of laughter, great conversations, meeting and greeting was enjoyed, and the food was plentiful and delicious.

Director Olivia Venable had her hands full greeting and visiting, but wore a big smile.

May you all have a blessed Thanksgiving, as many are already preparing for family and friends to celebrate. Count your blessings, not your worries!

If you would like to learn more about the Millbrook Civic Center and their new location on Grandview Road across from the Millbrook Fire Department, find them on Facebook! They welcome new participants, and there is plenty of room for you!

The Millbrook Senior Center was made possible by a grant from ADECA, and funds from the City of Millbrook. Formerly, the Senior Center was located in the much smaller Memorial Center. The Grandview Family YMCA is a sponsor of the Millbrook Senior Center. With the new, much larger and modern location, activities, trips, and FUN is in abundance.
