PAHS Featured Pet of the Week

Submitted by Prattville Autauga Humane Society

Potato is an 11-month-old female Australian Shepherd mix who must be spayed before she is adopted.  She has a beautiful and unusual medium length coat that is tan with brown spots with a bit of a merle look; and she has a white muzzle.  Potato is a beautiful girl!  She weighs 45 pounds so she is considered to be a medium sized dog.  Potato is active and playful; she would need regular exercise and a securely fenced yard where she could safely play.  Potato appears to be a smart girl; and she is at just the right age to be trained to do just about anything including agility.  She is good with other dogs and would be fine with children.  Potato is a super nice dog–come meet her soon.

Our adoption fee is $120.00 for dogs and $50.00 for cats.  This fee covers a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.  Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville.  Our regular hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm.  We are closed the last Thursday of the month for staff training.  Adoptions are currently by appointment only.
