Equality United Methodist Church Celebrates 135th Annual Homecoming September 11

EQUALITY, ALABAMA – The 135th annual Equality United Methodist Church Homecoming is scheduled for Sunday, September 11,2022, at Equality UMC. The church is located at 281 Alabama Highway 259, off Highway 9 in Equality.

A special music service will begin at 9:30 a.m. featuring the Pippin’s from Panama City, Florida. The worship service will follow at 11:00 a.m., with more great music and an inspiring message by former EUMC pastor Gene Lankford of Aliceville, Alabama.

There will be a covered-dish lunch to follow in the fellowship hall. Visitors are welcome! Please bring covered dishes and desserts for everyone to enjoy! All who attend will receive a blessing! We encourage visitors from surrounding areas to join us for the 135th Homecoming Celebration. 

Equality United Methodist Church has a proud history in the community and a rich heritage in the area. EUMC has many mission projects ongoing such as Food for the Souls, DHR ministry drop-off, Choir special music, and the monthly Food Drop programs to name a few.

The Pippin’s Bio:

The Pippin’s are based out of Panama City, Florida. They travel throughout the Southeast sharing the gospel in word and song.

Michelle grew up singing in the choir at her home church and has loved singing her entire life. She has a beautiful voice and immediately connects with the audience through her infectious smile. Her radiant personality reflects her love for the Lord.

Craig is a singer/songwriter who has traveled with Southern Groups such as the Dixie Echoes, Bibletones, Gann Brothers, Craig Pippin & Destiny. Craig has had one Top 10 song and several Top 40 songs in his singing career. Craig has had his songs recorded by Karen Peck & New River, Kingsmen, McKameys, Dixie Echoes, Cumberland Boys, Gann Brothers and the Anchormen. The Pippin’s love sharing their testimonies and songs the Lord has given them with audiences everywhere.
