A great fun event for all school aged children was held at Millbrook Baptist Church on Saturday, August 20th. This was their first Back to School Bash event, and over 100 people came to see all the exciting activities the church offered to the community.

There was free food, soft drinks, yard games, and a huge inflatable slide for the kids.

A wonderful guest speaker, Darrell Jennings, who is the Music Leader for Coosada Baptist Church, did a special fun art presentation. Kingdom Dough brought their shaved iced trailer to the church and passed out great tasting snow cones for everyone to enjoy.

“I am thankful for everyone that came out this evening for our Back to School Bash. It is good to get together as a community. Thank you to the Millbrook Baptist folks that provided cookies, help setup, cook and clean up. Special thanks to Darrell Jennings for sharing the Gospel through art. Thanks to our friends at Kingdom Dough for providing snow cones for everyone. I also would like to thank Space Walk of Montgomery for providing the giant slide,” said Mike Ingram, Pastor for Millbrook Baptist Church.

The next upcoming big event for Millbrook Baptist Church, is their annual Fall Festival. It will be held on October 31st from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please make plans to attend this event.
