PRATTVILLE, Ala. – The Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to be accepting nominations from the community for the Small Business of the Year Awards. All nominations must be received by this Friday, July 29, 2022. Nominations can be submitted online at prattvillechamber.com. These awards are designed to recognize small and growing businesses located in Prattville or Autauga County for their achievements and the important role they play in our community.
Prattville Chamber President Patty VanderWal said, “Prattville and Autauga County have a variety of successful small businesses that are positively impacting our community every day. The Small Business of the Year Awards are an opportunity for these businesses to be highlighted for their service.”
Nominees must meet the following criteria:
Must be located in Prattville and/or Autauga County
Must be a member of good standing with the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce both at the time of the nomination and the event
Must have 100 or less employees
Must have been in business for a minimum of one (1) year
Must be a profitable entity, not a non-profit
Demonstrates a commitment to social responsibility and community involvement (volunteering, fundraising, internships, mentoring or financial contributions)
The winner will be chosen by a panel of peers, based on their demonstrated commitment to the advancement of business in Prattville and Autauga County.
