Family Sunshine Center hosting Uniform Drive; Donations Appreciated

From Griffin Pritchard

Back to school can be a financial burden for FSC clients; many struggle to find the additional funds needed for uniforms, books, and school supplies. FSC’s Back to School Supply and Adopt-A-Student uniform drive are often the only ways these families have the necessary items to start the school year. The Back-to-School supply drive seeks to fill backpacks with essential and appropriate school supplies. The Adopt-a-Student uniform drive pairs donors with students to provide the necessary uniforms.

We are fortunate to be experiencing success with the supply drive.  However, we still need help with uniforms. As of (July 25) we have around 50 students in need.

Would you consider adopting a student and helping them dress for success?

With the help of the FSC staff, a list has been crafted detailing the age, sex, and particular uniform need (colors, sizes and shoe sizes) for each individual. If you are interested in assisting with the uniform drive,  I’ll assign you the number of students you request and provide the pertinent information.  Keep in mind I’d like to have uniforms in hand by August 5 so we can start sorting before school starts.
