A Holtville area man, a husband and the father of five children was killed while working out of town in the area of Mobile Wednesday. The EAN would like to send our sincere condolences to his family of Brett Savage in this terrible loss. A GoFundMe has been established to help with expenses and with financial realities for his widow and children.
Brett was very active with Holtville youth, his church and the family traveled for Missionary work.
Dusty Savage, who is Brett’s brother, is organizing this fundraiser.

From his brother, Dusty: “He was one of a kind. If I could describe him with one word it would be “Special.” There is no one on earth like him and he was loved by anyone that met him. He adored his wife Kasey and was an awesome dad and hero to all of his kids.
“I had the privilege of calling him my brother. He was an amazing person and the best little brother anyone could ask for. Today was tragic for my family. Brett went home to be with the lord today way too soon. We are devastated and heartbroken. We will be ok though. We will get through it with the help of faith, family and friends.
“Thank all of you for the outpouring of love for me and my family. I would like to ask for a little help. Brett was the sole provider for his family. They have 5 children and Kasey is a stay at home mom. Kasey and those babies are a need some help financially. Thank you all again for checking on us. Please keep my family in your prayers.”
